Auld Lang Syne

I've made a few online friends this year on AOL, Yahoo, Tagged & Facebook

Then some who popped in with request to be friends with never another look

Some came to stay hoping games I would play or to help them on the online farm

They sent me farmville and potville request and I'm sure that they meant no harm

However games I consider quite lame and ignore every one quite ambiguously

Each of my friends matter close all depends know I'm only here to share in poetry

Lots of days I spend online preparing thoughts of mine that I can share with you

Ain't claiming it to be the worlds best poetry it's just what on line I choose  to do

So don't be offended if you recommend it and I don't accept the request to join  

To those who like Pogo, for me it's a no go and some are here for the free porn

Doesn't matter to me what your hang up may be as I'm just here to share words

And if porn is your thing or tattoos or nose rings who am I to think you absurd?

Your kink is your kink be it smoke, drugs or drink I'm not here to be your judge  

Out in cyberspace is a big rat race but on my reason to be here I shall not budge

For the most part I am here each day of the year sharing my train of thought

There's nothing to buy, order or try or on E-Bay for me to have sold or bought

Here online for me I share for free bassackward thoughts that crowd my head

Each of us has reason to return every season and I'll probably return until dead

You can stay if you wish, comment if you please but either way I'll keep writing

Enchantment for me is each time I see something shared that's new & exciting  

As for your opinion or online dominion I'm sure that it is most important to you

Respect what I do,I'd do that for you and the year ahead we'll get through too
